Betsy Davidson

A life-long resident of Lowell, Michigan, Betsy Davidson graduated from Central Michigan University in 1994 with a degree in business. After graduation, she began working as an administrative assistant and kept right on learning, this time about computer programming and the field of information technology (IT).

Betsy started her IT company in early 2000 when Vergennes Township hired her to work on their computer network.  Today, more than 17 years later, Addorio Technologies continues to provide IT services to Vergennes Township along with many other West Michigan municipalities and numerous small to mid-size businesses and organizations.

Since its beginning, Addorio has grown primarily through word of mouth. “Most of our customers know at least one other customer,” says Betsy, “because when you care about taking care of your customer’s needs, word spreads.” As customer’s IT needs have evolved, Betsy has continued to learn and added services to meet those needs. “We really cover a broad spectrum now,” she says, “And if we don’t have an answer to your problem, someone in our professional network does. We’ll find that person and find the solution.”

In addition to serving Addorio customer’s IT needs, Betsy is committed to giving back to the community. She’s active in the local Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, Lowell Area Trails, and several other community organizations. “The Rotary slogan is People of Action. I’m living it, not just in Rotary, but wherever there is a need.” In their spare time, which she admits is somewhat rare, Betsy and her husband Matt like to travel.
